This 3.5 credit CLE (includes 1.25 Ethics Credits) will explain mental illness, how the state's legal system responds to people with mental illness, the first-hand experiences of people living with mental illness, discussion of barriers to treatment, the impact of legal financial obligations, and ethical challenges in representing people with mental illness.
